Introduction

I've always wanted to create a world.
I don't quite know why--maybe because we all have our little God complexes hidden away within us. The world does not have a name, but it is my hope that it will be living, and savage, and maybe even a little bit frightening in its eventual vastness.
This world will be cobbled together from bits and pieces; after time, maybe something tangible will even take form. Regardless of how everything turns out, it will have been a good run (:

This blog will also be paying homage of sorts to writers whose tales have left an indelible mark on how I view the world: Frank Herbert, Roger Zelazny, Holly Lisle, and (of course) J.R.R. Tolkein.
